TERMS & CONDITIONS

Effective Date: 1 December 2025

These Terms and Conditions outline the agreement between The Soul + Chi Library and you, the client, regarding all Feng Shui consultations and Akashic Records readings. By booking any service, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these terms.

1.  Services

1.1 Feng Shui Consultations

The Soul + Chi Library provides professional Feng Shui consultations rooted in classical Feng Shui principles to support balance, harmony and the enhanced flow of chi within your home or business. This service includes a 1:1 initial consultation (online), a written report with personalised recommendations delivered to you via email within 21 days of your initial online consultation and a final consultation (online). A client intake form must be completed at the time of booking and payment, and the client must provide all relevant information, including but not limited to photographs and compass directions.

1.2 Akashic Records Readings

Akashic Records readings offer soul level insight and intuitive guidance. These sessions may include channelled messages, clarity around life themes, supportive answers to your questions and integration suggestions. Akashic guidance is spiritual and reflective in nature and is not predictive, diagnostic or a replacement for professional medical, legal or financial advice.

2. Eligibility

2.1 You must be at least 18 years old to book services provided by The Soul + Chi Library.

2.2 Akashic Records readings are not offered to individuals who are experiencing mental health challenges or who are pregnant. This ensures that guidance is received in a grounded, emotionally stable and supported state. This eligibility requirement applies only to Akashic Records readings and does not apply to Feng Shui consultations. We reserve the right to decline or discontinue a reading if these conditions become apparent before or during the session.

2.3 By booking, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate and complete.

3. Booking and Payment

Full payment is required before the start of any service. Payments are made via Stripe. Feng Shui reports will be delivered via email within 21 days from the date of the initial 1:1 online consultation.

3.1 All bookings are made online and confirmed once payment has been made.

3.2 Service fees are displayed prior to booking and must be paid in full.

3.3 Payment is processed securely through approved third party providers (Stripe).

4. Refunds and Cooling Off Period

Under UK consumer law, distance sold services normally include a 14-day cooling off period. This right applies unless you request that your service begins within that period.

4.1 Early Service Start

By booking, you request that your service begins at the time of your scheduled consultation or reading. This means that your service begins within the statutory 14 day cooling off period.

4.2 Waiver of Cooling Off Rights

By requesting the service to begin at your chosen appointment time, you expressly agree to waive your statutory 14-day cancellation rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations.

4.3 Non-Refundable Services

All services are personalised and time based. Once your consultation or reading has taken place, the service is considered fully delivered and is non-refundable. For Feng Shui services, this includes delivery of the written report via email.

4.4 If You Do Not Wish to Waive Your Rights

If you do not wish to waive your cooling off rights, you must notify The Soul + Chi Library by emailing hello@thesoulandchilibrary.com immediately, and before any work has begun. Your appointment may need to be moved to a later date to ensure legal compliance.

4.5 Chargebacks

Completed services cannot be charged back. A chargeback does not override the terms agreed at the time of booking. Clear records of service delivery and client consent are maintained.

5. Rescheduling

5.1 You may reschedule appointments once with at least 48 hours notice.

5.2 Missed appointments or appointments rescheduled outside of the 48 hour notice period are treated as delivered services.

5.3 If you do not attend your appointment, the service is considered fulfilled.

6. Delivery of Services

6.1 Feng Shui consultations include your client intake form, scheduled online meetings (initial and follow up via Google Meet) and a personalised written report delivered via email within 21 days of your initial consultation meeting.

6.2 Akashic Records readings take place live via Google Meet during your scheduled appointment time.

7. Client Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate information, arrive on time for your session, and ensure a quiet and uninterrupted environment for online appointments. Clients must be at least 18 years old to access any service provided by The Soul + Chi Library.

7.1Feng Shui Responsibilities

Accurate analysis requires correct property details including floor plans, year of construction, and renovation or roof replacement history. Incorrect or incomplete information may affect the accuracy of your written Feng Shui report. A reassessment fee of 75 percent of the package price will apply if a new report is required due to inaccurate details.

7.2 Akashic Records Responsibilities

You are responsible for providing clear questions or intentions for your reading and for entering the session with a grounded and open mindset and understand that you will not be provided with predictions for the future. You confirm that you are not pregnant or have any current mental health issues.

8. Photographs and Image Use for Feng Shui Consultations

Photographs of your property (home or place of business) are required to support accurate analysis and report creation. These images are used solely for consultation purposes. Artistic interpretations of your property may be created as part of your service. Written consent will always be requested before sharing any images publicly. Only general location references may be used and never your full address.

9. Limitation of Liability

All services are holistic and intuitive in nature. They are not substitutes for professional medical, legal, financial, therapeutic or psychological advice. You are responsible for all decisions made following the session(s). No specific outcome is guaranteed or implied.

10. Intellectual Property

All written materials, Feng Shui reports, artistic interpretations and session content remain the intellectual property of The Soul + Chi Library. You may not reproduce, distribute, or publish any materials without written permission.

11.2 Client information is never sold or shared.

11.3 Consultations and readings remain confidential unless disclosure is required by law.
